Who you are is found in your relationship with Jesus
The church has fallen into the case of mistaken identity; not knowing who they are and what their purpose is on this earth....
JESUS KNEW WHO HE WAS AND THE ONLY WAY HE KNEW WAS THROUGH THE SCRIPTURES AND THE CLOSE RELATIONSHIP HE HAD WITH THE INDWELLING PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
We, as believers, must understand how to find our identity.
Let's first define the word "identity"
The condition of being the same in character or personality of an individual.
While Jesus was on the earth, He was referred to as the "Son of man" which is an indication He was revealing to us what a man, on the earth, and filled with the Holy Spirit had the potential to be.
Jesus prayed this prayer in John 17:21-23 "that they may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one; I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me."
WHAT A POWERFUL PRAYER!!!!
We have been made one in the Son and the Father; when your Heavenly Father looks at you He sees you in Christ.
Rest in the fact that you are sooooooo hidden in Christ that the Father sees no difference between you and Jesus.
When you read and study Jesus' life, you are learning your life.
You can find the life of Jesus in these books in the Holy Bible: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John
